– View your photos in the normal and fullscreen modes, including a slide show.
– The use of special effects to photos, including red-eye correction.
– Assign shortcuts, and photos of key words.

Two great suggestions. We suggest Picasa often as there are some simple photo editing tools that just arn’t offered in many others. Being able to resize a photo is different then cropping a photo, and sometimes people just want to resize the photo and email it to someone!
